- Environment: Ensure the operating environment stays within the specified temperature range (-20 °C to +50 °C) and is free from excessive dust or moisture.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank. | No power supply; internal battery discharged. | Check power connections. Ensure the device is receiving power. Allow time for the internal battery to charge. Press the C/R button to reset. |
| Timer does not switch ON/OFF as programmed. | Incorrect program settings; manual override active; incorrect current time/day. | Verify program settings (ON/OFF times, days). Check if manual override is active and switch to AUTO mode if necessary. Ensure current time and day are set correctly. |
| Time is inaccurate. | Minor drift (normal for electronic timers); device needs reset. | The device has an automatic error correction of +/- 30 seconds per week. If significantly off, reset the device using the C/R button and re-set the current time. |
| Load does not turn ON/OFF. | Incorrect wiring; faulty load; timer malfunction. | Check wiring according to the diagram. Test the load directly to ensure it is functional. If all else fails, the timer may be faulty and require replacement. |
