2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the projector and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components are present and undamaged. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.

2.2 Projector Placement

The ZW350 offers versatile placement options. It can be positioned for front projection, ceiling projection, or even 360-degree and vertical projection. Ensure the projector is placed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted.

  • Front Projection: Place the projector on a table or shelf in front of the screen.
  • Ceiling Projection: Mount the projector inverted from the ceiling. Adjust settings for inverted image display.
  • 360-degree and Vertical Projection: The projector supports flexible orientation for specialized installations.

2.3 Connecting Devices

Connect your video sources and other peripherals to the appropriate ports on the projector's rear panel.

  • HDMI: Connect HDMI cables from your video sources (e.g., Blu-ray player, laptop) to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 ports.

  • USB: The USB Power Out (5V 1.5A) port can be used to power external devices.

2.4 Powering On

  1. Connect the power cord to the projector and a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Press the power button on the projector's control panel or the remote control. The power indicator light will illuminate.

2.5 Initial Image Adjustments

  • Focus: Rotate the focus ring on the lens until the image is sharp.
  • Zoom: Adjust the zoom ring on the lens to change the image size. The projector features a 1.3x zoom.
  • Keystone Correction: If the image appears trapezoidal, use the keystone correction function (up to ±40° vertical) to square the image. The projector also supports auto-vertical keystone correction.

3. Operating the Projector

3.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Use the power button on the projector or remote.
  • Input Source Selection: Press the "Source" button on the remote or control panel to cycle through available inputs (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, VGA).

3.2 Menu Navigation

Use the arrow buttons and "Enter" button on the control panel or remote to navigate the on-screen display (OSD) menu. The OSD allows adjustment of various settings including image, display, setup, and network options.

3.3 Image Adjustments

Within the OSD menu, you can fine-tune image quality:

  • Brightness & Contrast: Adjust these settings to optimize image visibility for your environment.
  • Color Settings: Modify color temperature, gamma, and individual color levels.
  • Aspect Ratio: Select the appropriate aspect ratio (e.g., 16:10, 4:3) to match your content. The native resolution is WXGA (1280x800).

3.4 Audio

The projector includes a built-in 10W speaker. Adjust the volume using the remote control or OSD menu. For enhanced audio, connect external speakers to the Audio Out port.

3.5 Eco-Friendly Features

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Image Displayed

  • Ensure the projector is powered on and the power indicator is lit.

  • Adjust the keystone correction in the OSD menu.

5.4 No Sound from Built-in Speaker

  • Increase the volume using the remote or OSD menu.
  • Ensure the audio cable (if using analog input) is correctly connected.
  • Check the audio output settings on your source device.

5.5 Remote Control Not Working

  • Replace the batteries in the remote control.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector's IR receiver.
  • Point the remote directly at the projector.
