Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge your BonoBuds and their charging case. Place the earbuds into the charging case, ensuring they are correctly seated. The case can be charged using a USB-C cable (not included) connected to a power source. The LED indicator on the case will show charging status.

2. Initial Pairing

1. Ensure both earbuds are charged and inside the charging case.
2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light on the earbuds.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
4. Select "Phiaton BonoBuds" from the list of available devices.
5. Once connected, the LED indicator on the earbuds will stop flashing.

For subsequent uses, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when removed from the case.

Touch Controls

The BonoBuds feature intuitive touch controls for easy management of your audio and calls.

• Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
• Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double tap on the left earbud.
• Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud.
• Reject Call: Press and hold on either earbud.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Triple tap on either earbud.
• Toggle ANC/Transparency Mode: Press and hold on the right earbud.

Digital Hybrid Active Noise Canceling (ANC)

The BonoBuds utilize Digital Hybrid ANC technology to effectively reduce ambient noise. This system uses both internal and external microphones to detect and cancel a wide range of frequencies, providing an immersive listening experience.

To toggle between ANC and Transparency modes, press and hold the right earbud. Transparency mode allows you to hear your surroundings while still enjoying your audio.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your BonoBuds

To maintain optimal sound quality and hygiene, regularly clean your earbuds and charging case. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe down the surfaces. For ear tips, remove them from the earbuds and clean with a damp cloth, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Storage

When not in use, store your BonoBuds in their charging case to protect them from dust, dirt, and physical damage. Store the case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Water Resistance

The BonoBuds are rated IPX4 water resistant, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain. However, they are not designed for submersion in water or exposure to pressurized water jets. Do not wear them while swimming or showering.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Phiaton BonoBuds, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Earbuds not pairing:

  Ensure both earbuds are fully charged. Place them back in the charging case, close the lid for 5 seconds, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode. On your device, forget the "Phiaton BonoBuds" from your Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.

• No sound from one earbud:

  Check if both earbuds are charged. Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and then take them out again. This often re-syncs them. If the issue persists, try resetting the earbuds (refer to the full product manual for specific reset instructions if available, or try the "forget device" method above).

• Charging issues:

  Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source. Try a different USB-C cable and power adapter. Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case with a dry cotton swab.

• Poor call quality:

  Ensure the microphones are not obstructed. Check your device's network signal. If using ANC, try disabling it to see if it improves call clarity in certain environments.
