3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Blower Tube

  1. Align the blower tube with the outlet of the blower housing.
  2. Push the tube firmly onto the blower until it clicks into place, ensuring a secure connection.

3.2 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the battery charger to a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Slide the 4.0Ah 40-Volt Lithium-Ion Battery onto the charger.
  3. Allow the battery to charge completely. The indicator light on the charger will change color (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete.

3.3 Installing the Battery

  1. Ensure the blower is turned off.
  2. Slide the fully charged battery into the battery port on the blower until it locks securely into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  1. To turn on the blower, press and hold the power button located on the handle.
  2. To turn off the blower, release the power button.

4.2 Adjusting Speed Settings

The blower features a variable speed trigger and a turbo button for customized air output:

  • Variable Speed Trigger: Squeeze the trigger to start the blower. The airflow speed increases as you squeeze the trigger further.
  • Turbo Mode: For enhanced clearing power, press the turbo button. This provides maximum airflow (up to 550 CFM and 125 MPH) for heavy debris.

4.3 General Operation Tips

  • Start with a lower speed setting for lighter debris and increase as needed.
  • Sweep from side to side, moving debris into piles for easier collection.
  • Avoid directing airflow towards people or pets.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Disconnect the battery before cleaning.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the blower with a damp cloth.
  • Clear any debris from the air intake and blower tube to ensure optimal performance.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods.
  • Charge batteries fully before long-term storage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your HART 40-Volt Blower, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Blower not starting: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly seated in the blower. Check for any obstructions in the air intake or blower tube.
  • Reduced airflow: Clean the air intake and blower tube to remove any blockages. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
  • Battery not charging: Verify the charger is properly plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the battery is correctly inserted into the charger. If the issue persists, the battery or charger may need replacement.
