Setup

1. Unboxing and Components

Carefully unpack all items from the box. Ensure all components are present before proceeding.

2. Powering On and Charging

The portable DVD player comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery. For first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device.

• Using AC Adapter: Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the player and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
• Using Car Charger: For in-car use, connect the 1.8m car charger to the DC IN port and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

A full charge provides approximately 4-6 hours of playback time. The device can be used while charging.

Operating Instructions

1. Inserting and Playing Discs

1. Gently open the disc cover.
2. Place a compatible DVD or CD onto the disc spindle with the label side facing up.
3. Gently press the disc down until it clicks into place.
4. Close the disc cover. The player will automatically detect and begin playing the disc.

Compatibility: The player supports DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and other standard formats. Blu-ray discs are not supported.

2. Screen Rotation and Swivel

The 14.1-inch HD screen can be rotated and swiveled to achieve optimal viewing angles:

• 180° Rotation: The screen can rotate 180 degrees horizontally.
• 270° Swivel: The screen can then be swiveled 270 degrees vertically, allowing it to fold flat against the main unit, transforming into a tablet-like display.

3. USB/SD Card Playback

The player supports external USB drives and SD cards up to 32GB. To play media from these sources:

1. Insert your USB drive into the USB port or your SD card into the SD card slot.
2. Use the 'MODE' button on the player or remote to switch to USB or SD mode.
3. Navigate through your files using the directional buttons and press 'OK' or 'PLAY' to select and play media.

4. Connecting to External Devices (TV/Projector)

You can connect your YOTON Portable DVD Player to a larger screen like a TV or projector using the included 3-in-1 AV cable.

1. Connect one end of the AV cable to the AV OUT port on the DVD player.
