Setup and Installation
Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Inspect the cooler for any shipping damage. Keep the original packaging for future transport or if service is required.
Placement
Choose a location that is dry, well-ventilated, and away from direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g., stove, radiator). Ensure the ambient temperature is between 60°F (16°C) and 90°F (32°C). This cooler is designed for freestanding installation, but can also be built-in with proper ventilation clearances.
- Allow at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space on the back and sides, and 10 inches (25.4 cm) on top for proper air circulation.
- Ensure the floor is strong enough to support the cooler when fully loaded.

Leveling
It is crucial for the cooler to be level for optimal performance and to prevent the door from not sealing properly. Adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the unit by turning them clockwise to raise or counter-clockwise to lower until the cooler is stable and level.
Power Connection
Before plugging in, allow the cooler to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Plug the cooler into a dedicated, grounded 115V, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use a power strip or extension cord.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel
The electronic digital thermostat control panel is located at the top of the cooler, above the door. It allows you to easily adjust and monitor the internal temperature.

Figure 4: Electronic digital thermostat control panel with temperature display and adjustment buttons.
Temperature Adjustment
The temperature range for this cooler is typically between 34°F (1°C) and 50°F (10°C). To adjust the temperature:
- Press the 'Set' button (often represented by a gear or 'S' icon) to enter temperature setting mode.
- Use the 'Up' and 'Down' arrow buttons to increase or decrease the desired temperature.
- Press the 'Set' button again or wait a few seconds for the setting to be saved.
The display will show the current internal temperature. Allow several hours for the cooler to reach the set temperature after initial setup or temperature changes.
Shelving
The cooler comes with removable, plastic-coated wire shelves that can be adjusted to accommodate various beverage sizes. To adjust or remove a shelf, gently lift the front of the shelf and pull it out. To reinsert, slide the shelf back into the desired grooves until it is securely in place.
Interior LED Light
The interior LED light illuminates the contents of the cooler. It can typically be turned on or off using a dedicated light button on the control panel (often represented by a light bulb icon).
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the cooler's appearance and efficiency.
- Interior: Unplug the cooler. Remove all contents and shelves. Wash the interior surfaces with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner.
- Door Seal: Regularly clean the door gasket to ensure a tight seal. A dirty or damaged gasket can lead to poor cooling performance.
- Condenser Coils: Periodically (every 6-12 months) clean the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the unit. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. Ensure the cooler is unplugged before cleaning coils.
Defrosting
This cooler features an automatic defrost system. Frost buildup on the evaporator coils will melt periodically and drain into a drip tray, where it evaporates. You may occasionally see water droplets on the back wall, which is normal during the defrost cycle.
Power Outage
In case of a power outage, keep the cooler door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible. Avoid opening the door unnecessarily. If the outage is prolonged, consider transferring perishable items to another refrigerated unit.
Vacation Time
For short vacations, leave the cooler operating normally. For long vacations (several weeks or more), it is recommended to unplug the cooler, empty its contents, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cooler does not operate. | No power; circuit breaker tripped; power cord not fully plugged in. | Check power supply; reset circuit breaker; ensure plug is securely inserted. |
| Temperature is not cold enough. | Temperature setting too high; door not closed properly; excessive door openings; poor ventilation; warm items recently added. | Lower temperature setting; ensure door is sealed; minimize door openings; ensure proper clearance around cooler; allow time for new items to cool. |
| Cooler is making unusual noises. | Unit not level; items rattling inside; normal operating sounds (compressor, fan). | Adjust leveling legs; rearrange items; normal sounds are expected. |
| Water on floor or inside cooler. | Drain tube clogged; high humidity; excessive door openings. | Clear drain tube; this is normal during defrost in high humidity; minimize door openings. |
| Door does not close completely. | Unit not level; door gasket dirty or damaged; shelves are out of place. | Level the unit; clean or replace gasket; ensure shelves are correctly positioned. |
