Connect all fan cables to the universal fan hub located behind the motherboard tray, then connect the fan hub to your motherboard's fan header and a SATA power connector.
5. Operating Modes: Silent vs. Performance
The Eclipse P600S features a hybrid design allowing you to optimize for either quiet operation or maximum airflow.

Image 5.1: Diagram illustrating the two interchangeable modes of the Phanteks Eclipse P600S: Silent Mode and High-Performance Mode.
5.1. Silent Mode
For reduced noise, ensure the front and top panels are closed. These panels are lined with sound-dampening material to minimize acoustic output from your components.

5.2. High-Performance Mode
For maximum airflow and cooling, remove the front and top sound-dampening panels to reveal the high-airflow fabric mesh. This allows for unrestricted air intake and exhaust.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your PC case.
- Dust Filters: The Eclipse P600S includes removable dust filters at the front, top, and bottom. Regularly clean these filters by gently removing them and washing them with water or brushing off accumulated dust. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Interior Cleaning: Periodically use compressed air to remove dust from internal components and fan blades. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PC build, consider the following common troubleshooting steps related to the chassis:
- No Power: Ensure the power supply is correctly installed and connected, and all front panel power switch cables are securely attached to the motherboard.
- Fans Not Spinning/DRGB Not Lighting: Verify that all fan cables are connected to the fan hub, and the fan hub is receiving SATA power. Check DRGB connections to the motherboard or controller.
- USB Ports Not Functioning: Confirm that the front panel USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type-C cables are correctly plugged into the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
- Poor Airflow/Overheating: Ensure the case is in High-Performance mode (mesh panels exposed) if high cooling is required. Clean all dust filters. Verify fan orientation for proper intake and exhaust.
- Excessive Noise: If in Silent Mode, ensure all sound-dampening panels are securely closed. Check for loose components or vibrating fan mounts.
