1. Safety Instructions
Always observe basic safety precautions when using this electric sliding miter saw to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and serious personal injury. Read all instructions carefully before operation.
General Power Tool Safety
- Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection (safety goggles) and hearing protection. Use a dust mask if operations create dust. Dress properly; avoid loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.
Miter Saw Specific Safety
- Blade Safety: Ensure the blade is sharp and correctly installed. Never attempt to cut freehand. Always use the material clamp and fence to secure the workpiece.
- Laser Guide: Do not stare directly into the laser beam. The laser is a Class 2 laser product.
- Dust Collection: Connect a dust extraction device or use the provided dust bag to minimize dust exposure.
- Start-up: The saw features a soft start system. Allow the blade to reach full speed before beginning a cut.

3. Setup
Unpacking and Assembly
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Inspect the saw for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Do not operate if damaged.
- Attach the dust bag to the dust port at the rear of the saw head.
- Install the extension tables on both sides of the base plate, securing them with the provided fasteners.
Mounting the Saw
For stable operation, it is recommended to mount the miter saw to a workbench or a dedicated miter saw stand. Use the mounting holes in the base of the saw and appropriate hardware (not included) to secure it firmly.
Adjusting the Fence
The fence provides support for the workpiece. Ensure it is properly aligned and secured before making any cuts. The fence can be adjusted for different cutting angles and material thicknesses.

Figure 2: The sliding mechanism and adjustable fence provide support and allow for wider cuts.
Laser Guide Alignment
The laser guide projects a line onto the workpiece, indicating the cutting path. To activate, press the laser button. If the laser line is not aligned with the blade's kerf, consult the troubleshooting section for adjustment instructions.

Figure 3: The integrated laser guide assists in precise cutting by projecting a visible line.
4. Operation
Basic Cutting Procedures
- Secure Workpiece: Place the workpiece firmly against the fence and base. Use the material clamp to hold it securely.
- Set Angle: Adjust the miter angle by loosening the lock handle, rotating the turntable to the desired angle (e.g., 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30°, 45°), and then tightening the lock handle.
- Set Bevel: For bevel cuts, loosen the bevel lock, tilt the saw head to the desired angle (e.g., 0° to 45°), and tighten the lock.
- Start Saw: Press the trigger switch. Allow the blade to reach full speed before lowering it into the workpiece.
- Make Cut: Slowly lower the saw head through the workpiece. For sliding cuts, pull the saw head towards you, lower it, and push it smoothly through the material.
- Release Saw: Once the cut is complete, release the trigger and allow the blade to stop completely before raising the saw head.

Figure 4: The turntable allows for precise miter angle adjustments from -45° to +45°.

Figure 5: The saw head can be tilted for accurate bevel cuts up to 45°.
Sliding Function
The sliding function allows for cutting wider workpieces than a standard miter saw. To use, unlock the sliding mechanism (if applicable), pull the saw head forward, lower the blade into the material, and push the saw head smoothly back through the workpiece. Ensure the workpiece is fully supported throughout the cut.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your miter saw. Always disconnect the saw from the power supply before performing any maintenance.
Blade Changing
- Disconnect power.
- Raise the blade guard.
- Use the provided wrench to loosen the arbor nut while holding the arbor lock button.
- Carefully remove the old blade and install the new blade, ensuring the teeth are oriented correctly.
- Tighten the arbor nut securely.
Cleaning
- Regularly empty the dust bag or vacuum the dust port.
- Clean the saw's exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Keep the sliding rails clean and free of debris for smooth operation.
Lubrication
Apply a thin layer of light machine oil to the sliding rails periodically to ensure smooth movement of the saw head.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Saw does not start | No power supply; Faulty switch; Overload protection activated | Check power connection; Contact service for switch replacement; Allow motor to cool down |
| Inaccurate cuts | Blade dull or damaged; Fence not aligned; Miter/bevel angle not locked; Workpiece not secured | Replace blade; Adjust and secure fence; Lock angles firmly; Use workpiece clamp |
| Laser guide not visible/aligned | Laser lens dirty; Laser unit misaligned; Low ambient light | Clean laser lens; Adjust laser alignment (refer to specific model instructions); Ensure adequate lighting |
| Excessive vibration/noise | Loose blade; Damaged blade; Loose mounting bolts | Tighten blade arbor nut; Replace blade; Check and tighten all mounting bolts |
