3. Setup
3.1 Battery Charging
- Connect the rapid charger (UC18YKSL) to a power outlet.
- Slide the battery (BSL1420) onto the charger until it clicks into place.
- The charging indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Refer to the charger manual for specific light patterns.
- Once charging is complete, remove the battery from the charger.
3.2 Battery Installation
- Align the charged battery with the base of the impact driver.
- Slide the battery into the tool until it locks securely with a click. Ensure it is fully seated to prevent accidental detachment during operation.
3.3 Bit Installation
- Pull the bit holder sleeve forward.
- Insert the desired 6.35mm hex shank bit into the chuck.
- Release the sleeve to lock the bit in place. Gently pull on the bit to ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control
- To turn on the tool, press the trigger switch. The speed increases as you press the trigger further.
- To turn off the tool, release the trigger switch.
4.2 Forward/Reverse Rotation
- The forward/reverse rotation switch is located above the trigger.
- Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (for tightening screws).
- Push the switch to the right for reverse rotation (for loosening screws).
- Ensure the tool is completely stopped before changing the rotation direction.
4.3 Using the LED Light
The integrated white LED light automatically illuminates the work area when the trigger switch is pressed, providing better visibility in dimly lit conditions.
