4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the freezer for any damage incurred during transit. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
4.2 Placement
- Place the freezer on a firm, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Ensure adequate air circulation around the appliance. Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm (4 inches) from the back and sides to allow for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the freezer in areas where the temperature is likely to fall below 10°C (50°F) or rise above 43°C (110°F).
4.3 Door Reversal
The door of this deep freezer is reversible, allowing it to open from either the left or right side. Refer to the detailed instructions provided in the separate installation guide for door reversal procedures. It is recommended to have this procedure performed by a qualified technician.
4.4 Initial Power-On
After placing the freezer in its final position, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging it into the power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage to the cooling system. Once plugged in, allow the freezer to operate empty for 24 hours to reach its optimal operating temperature before loading food.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Digital Control Panel
The digital control panel is located on the front of the freezer door. It allows you to manage temperature settings and activate special functions.
- Power Button: Press to turn the freezer on or off.
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrows to set the desired temperature. The display shows the current temperature.
- Fast Freezing Mode: Press the snowflake button to activate fast freezing. The indicator light will turn ice blue. This mode rapidly lowers the temperature to freeze fresh food quickly. It will automatically deactivate after a set period or when the target temperature is reached.
- Eco Mode: Press the leaf button to activate Eco Mode. The indicator light will turn green. This mode optimizes energy consumption for efficient operation.
- Display Lock: Press the lock button to lock the control panel, preventing accidental changes to settings.
- Door Open Alarm: If the door remains open for an extended period, an alarm will sound, and a red indicator light will illuminate. Close the door to silence the alarm.
5.2 Internal LED Lighting
The freezer is equipped with internal LED lighting for clear visibility of stored items.
5.3 Ice Cube Maker
Fill the provided ice cube tray with water and place it in one of the freezer drawers. Once frozen, twist the tray to release the ice cubes.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the freezer before cleaning.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel surfaces, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner.
- Regularly clean the condenser coils at the back of the freezer (if accessible) with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to maintain efficiency.
6.2 No Frost Feature
This freezer is equipped with No Frost technology, which prevents ice buildup, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. If ice does accumulate due to frequent door openings or high humidity, ensure the door seal is intact and the door is closed properly.
6.3 Power Outage
In case of a power outage, keep the freezer door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible. Avoid opening the door unnecessarily. Most frozen foods will remain frozen for several hours if the door is kept shut.
