1. Introduction

The CANMORE HG200 Plus is a handheld Golf GPS device designed to provide accurate course information, track scores, and measure shot distances. It comes preloaded with over 41,000 golf courses worldwide and features a vibrant color display for easy readability.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB cable. Connect the magnetic charging connector to the device and the USB-A end to a 5V USB power source. Ensure the connection is secure. Charging at higher voltages may damage the battery.

3.2 Turning On/Off

To turn on the device, press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. To turn off, navigate to the 'POWER OFF' option in the main menu and confirm.

3.3 GPS Location

For accurate GPS reception, ensure the device's GPS receiver (top part of the device) faces the sky in an open space. Initial GPS location may take 1-2 minutes.

3.4 Course Data Updates

Course maps may change over time. For the most accurate data, regularly update the course data from the CANMORE website. Refer to the product's Quick Start Guide for specific instructions on updating and subscribing to course map updates.

4. Operating the Device

4.1 Main Menus

Use the UP/DOWN buttons to browse through the main menus, including 'PLAY GOLF', 'SETTINGS', and 'POWER OFF'. Press the OK button to select an option.

4.2 Playing Golf

From the 'PLAY GOLF' screen, press OK to start locating GPS. Once a course is found, select 'YES' to enter the course or 'NO' to browse nearby courses. Press OK to start the game.

4.3 Switching Holes

During a round, use the UP/DOWN buttons to switch between holes. The device also features an auto-hole advance function.

4.4 Checking Hazard Data

Press the POWER button to view hazard data for the current hole. Press POWER again to exit the hazard view.

4.5 Entering Scorecard

Press the OK button to enter the scorecard. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the score for the current hole. Press OK to confirm. To exit, press the POWER button.

4.6 Shot Distance Calculator

Hold the OK button to enter the shot distance calculator. Travel to your ball, and the device will calculate the distance. To exit, press the POWER button.

4.7 Score History

From the main menu, scroll to 'SCORE CARD' using the UP/DOWN buttons and press OK. Select a history record and press OK to view details. To exit, press the POWER button.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the charging port with brushes and a cloth to prevent sweat and dirt from affecting charging performance.

5.2 Storage

For optimal performance and longevity, store the device in a cool, dry place. Clean the device after exposure to sweat and dirt.

5.3 Water Resistance

The device is IPX7 rated waterproof, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, it is not designed for prolonged underwater use.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 "Incorrect Hole" Display

If the device displays "Incorrect Hole", it indicates that the golf course layout may have changed. A course update is required. Please visit the CANMORE website for updates and new course information.

6.2 Distance Displaying "---"

If the distance measurement displays "---" instead of figures, the device may be in low battery power reserve mode. Connect the device to power to recharge. Low battery levels can reduce GPS range and affect position location.

6.3 GPS Signal Issues

Ensure the GPS receiver is not covered and the device is used in an open area without obstructions for optimal signal reception.

6.4 Charging Connection Issues

If the magnetic charging cable does not maintain a positive connection, ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris. If issues persist, contact customer support.
