- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker and wall switch to the area where the light will be installed.
- Access Wiring Compartment:
Locate the access cover on the fixture. Loosen the locking screw and slide the keyhole slot over the screw head to remove the cover. Carefully pull the wire connectors out about 3 inches and clip any zip ties attaching them to the access door.

- Remove Knockout:
Determine which corresponding knockout is closest to your supply wire feed and carefully remove it by hammering a flat-head screwdriver or punch until the surface breaks.

- Attach Strain Relief:
Attach the metal strain relief to the end of the flexible whip (supply wire conduit) and turn until it is fully engaged. Push the strain relief and cable into the knockout, ensuring enough wire length for connections.
- Make Electrical Connections:
Insert the ground supply lead (green or bare copper) into the connector on the ground fixture wire. Insert the black supply lead into the connector on the black fixture wire, and the white supply lead into the connector on the white fixture wire. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Reattach Access Cover:
Slide the access cover away from the screw head until the screw head is captured by the narrow end of the keyhole slot. Tighten the locking screw back down. Push the strain relief into the knockout until you hear a click, ensuring it is secured.
- Mount the Fixture:
Hold the fixture in the desired location under the cabinet. Drive wood screws (using the pre-installed captive screws at each end) until they secure the fixture to the bottom surface of the cabinet. Ensure screws are driven straight for proper mounting.

- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker and wall switch.
