4.2. Adjusting the Fit

  1. Place the helmet on your head. It should sit level and cover your forehead.
  2. Locate the ErgoKnob adjustable dial at the rear of the helmet. Turn the dial clockwise to tighten the fit or counter-clockwise to loosen it. Adjust until the helmet feels snug and secure without causing discomfort. The helmet should not move freely when you shake your head.
  3. Fasten the chin strap. Adjust the strap so it is snug under your chin, allowing only one or two fingers to fit between the strap and your chin. The strap should not chafe.

4.3. Convertible Configuration (Snow to Skate/Bike)

The H1 helmet can be adapted for different sports:

  1. To convert for skate/bike use, gently detach the removable earmuffs and the fleece netted cap from the helmet interior.
  2. Install the foam padding inserts (included with the helmet) into the designated areas inside the helmet for a secure and comfortable fit without the fleece lining.
  3. Ensure all components are securely fastened before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Wearing the Helmet

Ensure the helmet is properly adjusted as described in Section 4.2. The helmet should cover your forehead and not obstruct your vision.

5.3. Airflow Management

The 10 integrated vents facilitate air circulation. Fresh air enters through the front and top vents, pushing out warm, moist air through the rear vents. This design helps maintain a comfortable temperature and reduces goggle fogging.
