Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Keurig K-Mini coffee maker.
Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Do not immerse the coffee maker in water.
Cleaning the Drip Tray
The drip tray can hold a full accidental brew for easy cleanup. Remove the drip tray and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before replacing.
Descaling
Over time, calcium deposits (scale) can build up in your coffee maker, affecting performance. Descaling should be done every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water. Refer to the official Keurig descaling solution instructions for best results. Do not use vinegar, as it may damage the brewer.
The K-Mini is compatible with the My K-Cup Universal Reusable Coffee Filter (sold separately) for brewing your own ground coffee. Clean the reusable filter according to its specific instructions.
