If you encounter issues with your AEG DPE5960M hood, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Hood not turning on: Check if the appliance is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Ensure the vapor shield is extended sufficiently to activate the fan. Check the circuit breaker.
- Poor extraction performance: Ensure the metal grease filters are clean and not saturated. If in recirculation mode, check if the activated carbon filters need replacement. Verify that the exhaust ducting (if applicable) is not blocked or kinked.
- Lights not working: Check if the light button has been pressed. If the LED light strip is faulty, contact qualified service personnel for replacement.
- Excessive noise: Ensure the hood is securely mounted and all components are properly installed. Check for any loose parts or obstructions in the fan.
