1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1. Battery Installation

The BRUNO Cube Timer Clock requires two AAA batteries (included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
2. Slide the cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

2.2. Initial Time and Date Setting

After installing batteries, the display will show a default time. To set the current time and date:

1. Press and hold the Clock/Date button (usually marked with a clock icon or 'M') to enter setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press the Clock/Date button again to move to minute setting, then adjust with + and -.
4. Continue pressing the Clock/Date button to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with + and -.
5. Once all settings are complete, press the Clock/Date button one last time or wait a few seconds for the device to exit setting mode automatically.
6. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display, press the + button while the time is displayed in clock mode.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Switching Between Clock and Timer Modes

The device operates in two main modes: Clock Mode and Timer Mode. To switch between them, press the Mode button (often marked with an hourglass icon).

3.2. Setting and Using the Timer

The Cube Timer Clock features a unique rotary switch for quick timer activation and up to three preset timer patterns.

1. Activating a Preset Timer: The top part of the clock can be rotated. Each side of the top cube may have a number (e.g., 1, 2, 3) corresponding to a preset timer duration. Simply rotate the top cube so the desired preset number faces upwards to start the timer.
2. Setting Custom Timer: In Timer Mode, use the + and - buttons to set the desired countdown time.
3. Starting/Stopping Timer: Press the Start/Stop button (often integrated with the Mode button or a separate button) to begin or pause the countdown.
4. Timer Alarm: When the timer reaches zero, an electronic alarm will sound. Press any button to stop the alarm.

3.3. Setting the Alarm and Snooze

To set the alarm:

1. In Clock Mode, press and hold the Alarm button (marked with a bell icon) to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm hour digits will flash.
2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the Alarm button again to move to minute setting, then adjust with + and -.
4. Press the Alarm button one last time or wait for the device to exit setting mode.
5. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the Alarm button briefly. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

When the alarm sounds, press the Snooze button (often the top surface of the clock or a dedicated button) to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes). To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

3.4. Backlight Function

The display features a backlight for visibility in low-light conditions. To activate the backlight, press the Light button (if available) or briefly press the top surface of the clock. The backlight will illuminate for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.

4.1. Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
• For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water and a mild detergent, then wipe dry immediately.
