2. Setup
2.1. Battery Installation
The BRUNO Cube Timer Clock requires two AAA batteries (included). Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
- Slide the cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

2.2. Initial Time and Date Setting
After installing batteries, the display will show a default time. To set the current time and date:
- Press and hold the Clock/Date button (usually marked with a clock icon or 'M') to enter setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
- Use the + and - buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press the Clock/Date button again to move to minute setting, then adjust with + and -.
- Continue pressing the Clock/Date button to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with + and -.
- Once all settings are complete, press the Clock/Date button one last time or wait a few seconds for the device to exit setting mode automatically.
- To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display, press the + button while the time is displayed in clock mode.

- Setting Custom Timer: In Timer Mode, use the + and - buttons to set the desired countdown time.
- Starting/Stopping Timer: Press the Start/Stop button (often integrated with the Mode button or a separate button) to begin or pause the countdown.
- Timer Alarm: When the timer reaches zero, an electronic alarm will sound. Press any button to stop the alarm.

- In Clock Mode, press and hold the Alarm button (marked with a bell icon) to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Use the + and - buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the Alarm button again to move to minute setting, then adjust with + and -.
- Press the Alarm button one last time or wait for the device to exit setting mode.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the Alarm button briefly. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
When the alarm sounds, press the Snooze button (often the top surface of the clock or a dedicated button) to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes). To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

3.4. Backlight Function
The display features a backlight for visibility in low-light conditions. To activate the backlight, press the Light button (if available) or briefly press the top surface of the clock. The backlight will illuminate for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.
