Adhering to these guidelines ensures safe operation and extends battery life:
- Charge only with specified charger: Use only official GoPro chargers or compatible third-party chargers approved by GoPro.
- Do not dispose of in fire: Lithium-ion batteries can explode or catch fire if exposed to high heat.
- Don't store at temperatures over 60°C (140°F): High temperatures can degrade battery performance and pose a safety risk.
- Do not disassemble: Disassembling the battery can cause damage, short circuits, and potential hazards.
- Avoid physical damage: Do not puncture, crush, or drop the battery.
- Keep dry: Do not expose the battery to water or moisture unless it is properly sealed within a waterproof camera or housing.

6. Troubleshooting
Battery Not Charging:
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the camera/charger and the power source.
- Verify the power source is active.
- Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
- Clean the battery contacts and camera/charger contacts with a dry, soft cloth.
Short Battery Life:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- Reduce camera settings such as resolution, frame rate, or Wi-Fi usage to conserve power.
- Extreme cold temperatures will naturally reduce battery performance; this is a characteristic of lithium-ion batteries.
- If the battery is old, its capacity may have degraded over time. Consider replacing it.
Camera Not Recognizing Battery:
- Remove and reinsert the battery to ensure it is properly seated.
- Ensure the battery contacts are clean.
- Verify the battery is an official GoPro Enduro Battery and not a counterfeit.
- Update your GoPro camera's firmware to the latest version.
