1. Product Overview

The GoPro Enduro Battery is an advanced 1720mAh lithium-ion battery designed to enhance the performance of compatible GoPro cameras. It offers improved performance in cold temperatures and extended recording times in moderate temperatures compared to standard GoPro batteries.

2. Compatibility

The GoPro Enduro Battery is compatible with the following GoPro camera models:

3. Setup and Charging

Inserting the Battery:

1. Ensure your GoPro camera is powered off.
2. Open the battery door on your GoPro camera.
3. Align the Enduro Battery with the battery compartment, ensuring the contacts match.
4. Gently push the battery into the compartment until it is fully seated.
5. Close the battery door securely.

Charging the Battery:

The Enduro Battery can be charged while inside a compatible GoPro camera or using a dedicated GoPro dual battery charger (sold separately).

1. Connect your GoPro camera or dual battery charger to a USB power source using a USB-C cable.
2. The camera's status lights or charger's indicators will show the charging status.
3. Charging is complete when the indicators show a full charge (typically a solid green light).

Important: Only charge with specified chargers. Using unauthorized chargers may damage the battery or camera.

4. Operating the Battery

Once the Enduro Battery is fully charged and inserted into a compatible GoPro camera, the camera is ready for use. The battery provides extended power for recording videos and capturing photos, especially in challenging cold environments.

• Monitor battery life through the camera's display or the GoPro Quik app.
• For optimal performance in cold conditions, keep the camera and battery as warm as possible before use.

5. Maintenance and Safety

Adhering to these guidelines ensures safe operation and extends battery life:

• Charge only with specified charger: Use only official GoPro chargers or compatible third-party chargers approved by GoPro.
• Do not dispose of in fire: Lithium-ion batteries can explode or catch fire if exposed to high heat.
• Don't store at temperatures over 60°C (140°F): High temperatures can degrade battery performance and pose a safety risk.

6. Troubleshooting

Battery Not Charging:

• Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the camera/charger and the power source.
• Verify the power source is active.
• Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
• Clean the battery contacts and camera/charger contacts with a dry, soft cloth.

Short Battery Life:

• Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
• Reduce camera settings such as resolution, frame rate, or Wi-Fi usage to conserve power.
• Extreme cold temperatures will naturally reduce battery performance; this is a characteristic of lithium-ion batteries.
• If the battery is old, its capacity may have degraded over time. Consider replacing it.

Camera Not Recognizing Battery:

• Remove and reinsert the battery to ensure it is properly seated.
• Ensure the battery contacts are clean.
• Verify the battery is an official GoPro Enduro Battery and not a counterfeit.
• Update your GoPro camera's firmware to the latest version.
