4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Placement

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Place the charging base against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter to the sides and 2 meters in front.
  3. Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a power outlet.

4.2 Installing Side Brushes

Attach the left (L) and right (R) side brushes to their corresponding posts on the underside of the robot until they click into place.

4.3 Charging the Robot

Place the robot onto the charging base. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the base. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. Fully charge the robot before first use (approximately 4-5 hours).

4.4 App and Smart Home Integration

  1. Download the ZACO app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your ZACO V6 to your home Wi-Fi network.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Cleaning Modes

The ZACO V6 offers various cleaning modes:

5.2 Vacuuming Operation

Ensure the XL dustbin or XXL dust bag is correctly installed. Press the "Clean" button on the robot, remote control, or use the app to start vacuuming.

5.3 Mopping Operation

  1. Fill the water tank with clean water. Do not use detergents or cleaning solutions not approved by ZACO.
  2. Attach the water tank to the robot.
  3. Select the mopping mode via the app or remote control. The robot will vacuum and mop simultaneously.

5.4 Virtual Wall Function

Use the optional virtual wall accessory to create boundaries that the robot will not cross. This is useful for restricting the robot to specific rooms or areas.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin/Changing Dust Bag

The ZACO V6 offers flexible dust management. You can use the standard 600 ml XL dustbin or an optional 1000 ml XXL dust bag for more hygienic disposal.

  1. Open the top cover of the robot.
  2. Remove the dustbin or dust bag module.
  3. Empty the dustbin or replace the dust bag.
  4. Clean the filter inside the dustbin.
  5. Reinsert the dustbin/dust bag module and close the cover.

6.2 Cleaning the Water Tank and Mopping Cloth

After each mopping session, empty any remaining water from the tank and rinse it. Remove and clean the mopping cloth. Allow both to air dry completely before reassembly.

6.3 Cleaning Side Brushes

Periodically remove any hair or debris tangled around the side brushes. Replace worn brushes as needed.

Wipe the anti-drop sensors, obstacle sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging base with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper function.
