5. Setup
5.1 Hardware Installation
- Hard Drive Installation (HDD not included):
- Unscrew and remove the top cover of the DVR.
- Connect the SATA power and data cables from the DVR to the hard drive.
- Secure the hard drive inside the DVR using the provided screws.
- Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.
- Connect Cameras: Connect your analog cameras to the BNC video input ports on the rear panel of the DVR.
- Connect Monitor: Connect a monitor to the HDMI or VGA output port.
- Connect Network: Connect an Ethernet cable from the DVR's LAN port to your router or network switch.
- Connect USB Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into a USB port on the DVR.
