1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Outsunny 3-Seater Garden Swing. This manual provides important information regarding the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new garden swing. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure safe and proper operation. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of serious injury, always follow these basic safety precautions when assembling and using the garden swing:

• Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not attempt to assemble if any parts are missing or damaged.
• Assemble the swing on a flat, stable surface.
• Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 360 kg (793 lbs). This swing is designed for up to 3 persons.
• Regularly check all bolts and nuts for tightness. Retighten as necessary.
• Do not stand on the swing or use it as a ladder.
• Avoid using the swing in strong winds or severe weather conditions. The canopy should be secured or removed during such conditions to prevent damage.
• Keep away from open flames and heat sources.
• Supervise children when they are using the swing.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is straightforward and can typically be completed by one person in approximately one hour. Follow the steps below carefully.

1. Step 1: Assemble the Main Frame. Connect the leg components and crossbars using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten bolts until the entire frame is assembled.
2. Step 2: Attach the Swing Seat. Secure the swing seat frame to the main frame using the hanging mechanisms (springs and hooks). Ensure the seat hangs freely and securely.

3. Step 3: Install the Canopy. Assemble the canopy frame and slide the beige polyester fabric onto it. Attach the assembled canopy to the top of the main frame.

4. Step 4: Attach Side Trays. Secure the retractable cup holder trays to the sides of the main frame.
5. Step 5: Place Cushions and Pillows. Position the 8 cm thick seat cushions on the swing seat. Use the tie-down cords on the cushions to secure them to the frame. Place the two provided pillows for added comfort.

6. Step 6: Final Tightening. Once all components are in place, go back and fully tighten all bolts and nuts. Ensure the swing is stable and level.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Swing

Gently sit on the swing seat. The swing is designed for a smooth, relaxing motion. Avoid excessive force or sudden movements.

5.2 Adjusting the Canopy

The canopy's inclination can be adjusted to provide optimal shade throughout the day. Loosen the adjustment knobs on the side of the canopy frame, position the canopy to your desired angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure it.

5.3 Using the Side Trays

The swing is equipped with two retractable side trays. Pull them out when needed to hold beverages or small items, and push them back in when not in use to save space.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your garden swing.

• Cleaning: Clean the metal frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent rust. The polyester canopy and cushions can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry.
• Frame Inspection: Periodically inspect the steel epoxy anti-corrosion frame for any signs of rust or damage. Touch up any scratches with rust-resistant paint if necessary.
• Hardware Check: Regularly check all bolts, nuts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Retighten as needed to maintain stability and safety.
• Winter Storage: During off-season or prolonged periods of non-use, especially in harsh weather, it is recommended to store the swing indoors or cover it with a protective outdoor furniture cover to prevent damage from extreme temperatures, rain, or snow. Remove cushions and store them in a dry place.
• Canopy Care: If strong winds are expected, it is advisable to lower or remove the canopy to prevent damage.
