Setup Instructions

1. Connect Power: Plug the provided power adapter into the 'DC IN 12V' port on the rear of the Avolusion PRO-Z hard drive. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet.
2. Connect to PS5: Connect one end of the USB 3.0 cable to the USB Type-C port on the rear of the Avolusion PRO-Z hard drive. Connect the other end of the USB 3.0 cable to an available USB port on your PlayStation 5 console.

• PS4 Games: You can play PS4 games directly from the Avolusion PRO-Z USB extended storage. This saves space on your PS5 console's internal SSD.
• PS5 Games: PS5 games must be played from the console's internal SSD. You cannot download PS5 games directly to the external hard drive. However, you can move and store PS5 game data from your PS5 console's internal SSD to the Avolusion PRO-Z when you are not actively playing them. This frees up internal SSD space. When you wish to play a stored PS5 game, you will need to copy it back to the internal SSD. Copying a game from the external drive is significantly faster than re-downloading it.

Moving PS5 Games to External Storage

To move PS5 games from your console's internal SSD to the Avolusion PRO-Z:

1. Go to your PS5's Settings.
2. Select Storage.

5. Select the PS5 games you wish to move and choose the option to Move to USB Extended Storage.

Moving PS5 Games from External Storage to Internal SSD
