1. Introduction

2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when installing and using this electrical product. Failure to follow these instructions could result in injury or death.
- DANGER: Risk of Accidental Drowning. Extreme caution must be exercised to prevent unauthorized access by children. To avoid accidents, ensure children cannot use this spa unless they are supervised at all times.
- WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Connect only to a grounded outlet. Do not bury the cord.
- WARNING: Risk of Injury. The suction fittings in this spa are sized to match the specific water flow created by the pump. Never operate the spa if the suction fittings are broken or missing.
- WARNING: Risk of Hyperthermia. Prolonged immersion in hot water can result in hyperthermia. Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees above the normal body temperature of 37°C (98.6°F).
- Always supervise children and individuals with health conditions.
- Do not use the spa if you are pregnant, have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or other health conditions without consulting a physician.
- Do not use the spa immediately following strenuous exercise.
- Do not operate the spa if the water temperature exceeds 40°C (104°F).
- Keep all electrical appliances away from the spa.
- Ensure the spa is placed on a level, stable surface capable of supporting its full weight when filled (approx. 1098 kg).
3. Setup
3.1 Site Preparation
Choose a suitable location for your PureSpa. The area must be flat, level, and free of sharp objects. Ensure there is adequate drainage and access to a grounded electrical outlet. A ground cloth is recommended to protect the spa's bottom and provide insulation.

3.2 Inflation
Unfold the spa liner and spread it out on the prepared ground cloth. Connect the inflation hose from the control unit to the spa's inflation valve. Turn on the control unit's inflation function to inflate the spa walls until they are firm to the touch but not over-inflated. Do not use an air compressor for inflation.

3.3 Connecting the Control Unit
Once the spa is inflated, connect the control unit to the spa's water inlet and outlet ports. Ensure all connections are secure and hand-tightened. The control unit houses the heater, filter pump, and bubble blower.

3.4 Filling the Spa
Fill the spa with fresh water using a garden hose. Fill until the water level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines indicated on the spa's interior wall. Do not overfill or underfill the spa.
4. Operating the Spa
4.1 Control Panel Overview
The control panel on the top of the control unit allows you to manage all spa functions, including heating, filtration, and bubble jets. The digital display shows the current water temperature and various status indicators.

4.2 Heating Function
Press the heater button to activate the heating system. Use the temperature adjustment buttons (up/down arrows) to set your desired water temperature. The display will show the set temperature, then revert to the current water temperature. The heater will automatically turn off once the set temperature is reached.
4.3 Bubble Jet System
Press the bubble button to activate the bubble jets. The system will generate soothing bubbles from the bottom of the spa. Press the button again to turn off the bubble jets. The bubble system has an automatic shut-off after 30 minutes of continuous operation.
4.4 Filtration System
The filtration system helps keep your spa water clean. Press the filter button to turn on the filter pump. It is recommended to run the filter for several hours each day, depending on usage, to maintain water clarity. The system also includes a saltwater system for water treatment.
4.5 Mobile App Control
Your PureSpa Greystone Deluxe 28452 can be controlled via a mobile application. Download the official Intex PureSpa app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your spa. The app allows you to remotely control heating, filtration, and schedule operations.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Water Chemistry
Regularly test your spa water using test strips to ensure proper chemical balance. Maintain appropriate levels of pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer (e.g., chlorine or bromine). The integrated saltwater system assists in water sanitation.
5.2 Filter Cartridge Cleaning and Replacement
The filter cartridge should be cleaned regularly (daily or every other day depending on usage) by rinsing it with a garden hose. Replace the filter cartridge every 2-4 weeks or when it becomes discolored and hard to clean.

5.3 Spa Cleaning
Drain and clean the spa periodically. Use a soft brush or sponge and mild soap to clean the interior and exterior surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water before refilling.
5.4 Spa Cover Care
Always use the insulated cover when the spa is not in use to retain heat and keep debris out. Clean the cover regularly with a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly. Store the cover in a clean, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
