Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the camera's front cover by releasing the latch.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert eight (8) AA batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
2. SD Card Installation
- With the camera's front cover open, locate the SD card slot.
- Insert a compatible SD card (up to 32GB, not included) into the slot with the label facing up until it clicks into place.
- To remove the SD card, press it gently until it springs out.

3. Mounting the Camera
- Select a suitable location for your camera, such as a tree or post.
- Thread the adjustable tree strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
- Securely fasten the strap around the mounting surface using the alligator clips, ensuring the camera is stable and pointed in the desired direction.
- The camera also features a 1/4-20 threaded insert on the back for use with compatible mounting accessories (not included).

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
To power on the camera, slide the power switch to the 'ON' position. The LCD screen will illuminate. To power off, slide the switch to 'OFF'.
2. Menu Navigation
Use the control buttons located inside the camera's front cover to navigate the menu:
- SD CARD / EJECT: Used for navigating menu options or ejecting the SD card.
- ENTER: Confirms selections and enters sub-menus.
3. Initial Settings
Upon first use or after battery replacement, you may need to set the following:
- Time and Date: Navigate to the time/date setting and adjust using the navigation buttons. Confirm with ENTER.
- Moon Phase: The camera can display moon phase information. Ensure the time and date are correct for accurate moon phase display.
4. Camera Settings
Access the camera's menu to configure various settings:
- Image Resolution: Set to 26 Megapixels for high-quality still images.
- Video Resolution: Set to 720p HD for video capture. Note that videos are recorded without audio.
- Trigger Speed: The camera features a fast 0.7-second trigger speed. This setting is typically fixed or has limited adjustment options.
- Detection Range: The camera has a detection range of up to 21.3 meters (70 feet).
- Operating Mode: Select between photo, video, or photo+video modes.
- Lightsout Mode: If you have a Lightsout model, this setting controls the invisible infrared flash for night captures.
5. Viewing Captured Media
To view images and videos captured by your Wraith 2.0 Trail Camera:
- On Camera: Use the built-in LCD screen and navigation buttons to review media directly on the camera.
- Via SD Card: Remove the SD card and insert it into a compatible device (e.g., computer, tablet) to view files.
- Using HuntSmart App: The camera supports wireless connectivity. Download the HuntSmart app for smartphones and tablets to manage and view your camera's media.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Gently wipe the camera lens and housing with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
2. Battery Replacement
Replace all eight AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen to ensure continuous operation.
Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Powering On: Ensure batteries are new, correctly inserted, and fully charged. Check that the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- No Images/Videos Captured: Verify that an SD card is properly inserted and has sufficient free space. Check camera settings to ensure it is in the correct operating mode (photo, video, or both) and that the trigger delay is not set too long.
- Poor Image/Video Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure the camera is mounted securely to prevent movement. Check battery levels, as low power can affect performance.
- Solar Panel Compatibility: The Wraith 2.0 is compatible with 12V DC solar panels (not included). Ensure any external solar panel used has a compatible 12V DC jack connector that fits the camera's input port. Some solar packs may have incompatible connectors or voltage outputs.
