Your Remington® ‘The Beardsman’ grooming kit includes the following components:

Setup

Charging the Trimmer

  1. Ensure the trimmer is switched off.
  2. Connect the charging adapter to the trimmer's charging port.
  3. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Allow the trimmer to charge for approximately 4 hours for a full charge. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging.

A full charge provides up to 90 minutes of cordless runtime.

Attaching and Adjusting Combs

  1. Select the desired comb (XL, Full Beard, or Stubble) based on your preferred length.
  2. Align the comb with the trimmer head and gently push until it clicks into place.
  3. Use the zoom wheel located on the trimmer body to adjust the cutting length. Rotate the wheel to select from the 27 available length options. The selected length will be displayed.
  4. Ensure the comb is securely locked in place before trimming.

Operating Instructions

General Trimming

  1. Before trimming, ensure your beard is clean and dry.
  2. Select the appropriate comb and length setting.
  3. Turn on the trimmer by pressing the power button.
  4. Hold the trimmer with the blades pointing towards your beard.
  5. Trim against the direction of hair growth for an even cut. Use smooth, controlled strokes.
  6. For best results, trim small sections at a time.

Using the Detail Trimmer

The precision detail trimmer is ideal for shaping sideburns, defining beard lines, and reaching hard-to-access areas.

  1. Ensure the main comb is removed or retracted.
  2. Locate the pop-up detail trimmer release button (if applicable, based on image 61vXrBGAoCL.jpg).
  3. Activate the detail trimmer.
  4. Carefully use the smaller blade to create precise lines and edges.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Trimmer

  1. Turn off and unplug the trimmer before cleaning.
  2. Remove any attached combs.
  3. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove hair clippings from the blades and comb attachments.
  4. For a more thorough clean, the trimmer head can be detached (refer to specific instructions in the full user guide if available). Do not rinse the entire unit under water as it is not waterproof.
  5. Periodically oil the blades with light machine oil (not included) to maintain optimal performance.

Storage

Store the trimmer and its accessories in a dry place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures. Keep all components together to prevent loss.

Troubleshooting
