1. Important Safety Information

3. Setup and Installation

This ceramic hob is designed for built-in installation. Ensure proper ventilation and electrical connections are made according to local regulations.

Electrical Connection:

The hob requires a 220V-240V, 50Hz/60Hz power supply. It comes with a 1.2m 2-conductor power cable but no plug. It must be hardwired by a qualified electrician.

4. Operating Instructions

The Karinear ceramic hob features intuitive touch controls for easy operation.

Basic Operation:

1. Power On/Off: Touch the power symbol to turn the hob on or off.
2. Select Cooking Zone: Touch the corresponding zone selection button.
3. Adjust Power Level: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select one of the 9 power levels.
4. Timer Function: Touch the timer button and use '+' and '-' to set the desired cooking time (up to 99 minutes). The hob will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
5. Child Lock: To activate, press and hold the child lock button until the indicator lights up. This prevents accidental changes to settings. To deactivate, press and hold the child lock button again.

The largest cooking zone features a three-loop control, allowing you to adjust the heating area to match the size of your cookware for optimal efficiency.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

The black crystal glass surface is designed for easy cleaning and maintenance.

• Daily Cleaning: After each use, allow the hob to cool down. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
• Stubborn Stains: For burnt-on food or stubborn stains, use a ceramic hob scraper (one is included in the package) to gently remove residue. Then clean as usual.
• Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the glass surface.
• Spills: Clean up spills immediately, especially sugary liquids, to prevent them from burning onto the surface and causing permanent damage.
