3. Setup & Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up and install your solar light.

3.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

• Ensure the solar panel is placed in an area that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily.
• Avoid installing near other light sources (e.g., streetlights) that might interfere with the light sensor.
• Confirm all included components are present.

3.2 Mounting Instructions

1. Choose a suitable location on a wall, fence, or pole where the solar panel can receive maximum sunlight.
2. Use the provided mounting hardware (screws and anchors) to securely attach the light's base to the chosen surface.
3. Adjust the solar panel's angle (up to 180 degrees) to face the sun for optimal charging.
4. Adjust the lamp body's angle (up to 45 degrees) to direct light to your desired area.

4. Operating Modes

The JESLED solar light features 4 intelligent operating modes, selectable via the switch button on the unit.

• Mode 1: Sensor Mode
  The light remains off without motion detection. When motion is detected, the light turns on at full brightness and turns off after approximately 15-25 seconds of no motion.
• Mode 2: Sensor & Dim Mode
  The light stays in a dim brightness without motion detection. When motion is detected, the light brightens to full intensity and returns to dim mode after the person moves away.
• Mode 3: Dim Mode
  The light stays at a continuous dim brightness throughout the night. It automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn, entering charging mode during the day.
• Mode 4: High Brightness Mode
  The light remains at maximum brightness continuously. To activate or deactivate this mode, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

Regular maintenance ensures the optimal performance and longevity of your solar light.

5.1 Cleaning

• Periodically clean the solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures efficient sunlight absorption.
• Wipe the LED light surface and motion sensor with a clean, dry cloth to maintain clear light output and sensor sensitivity.

5.2 Battery Replacement

The light features a replaceable battery for extended product life. Refer to Figure 2.2.2 for the battery compartment location.

1. Carefully open the battery compartment cover.
2. Remove the old battery.
3. Insert a new compatible Lithium-polymer battery (2600mAh) ensuring correct polarity.
4. Securely close the battery compartment cover to maintain the IP65 waterproof rating.
