3. Product Overview

3.1. Aluminum Case

The keyboard chassis is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, providing durability and a premium feel. The ceramic sand-blasting process ensures a delicate touch and long-lasting finish.

3.2. 96% Layout

4. Setup

4.1. Initial Charging

Before first use, connect the keyboard to a USB power source using the provided USB Type-C cable to ensure it is fully charged. The 4000mAh battery provides extended usage time.

4.2. Connecting the Keyboard

The F97 supports three connection modes: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C wired.

4.2.1. USB Type-C Wired Connection

1. Connect one end of the USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's port.
2. Connect the other end to an available USB port on your computer.
3. The keyboard will automatically be detected and ready for use.

4.2.2. 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Locate the 2.4G USB receiver (usually stored in a compartment on the keyboard or included in the package).
2. Plug the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Switch the keyboard's connection mode to 2.4G (refer to Section 5.1 for mode switching).
4. The keyboard should connect automatically.

4.2.3. Bluetooth 5.1 Connection

1. Switch the keyboard's connection mode to Bluetooth (refer to Section 5.1 for mode switching).
2. On your device (computer, tablet, phone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
3. Select 'IQUNIX F97' or a similar name from the list of available devices.
4. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The keyboard can connect to multiple devices wirelessly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Switching Connection Modes

Use the designated switch or key combination on the keyboard to toggle between Wired, 2.4G, and Bluetooth modes. Refer to the keyboard's physical layout for the exact switch location.

5.2. Operating System Compatibility

The IQUNIX F97 is compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. For macOS users, specific adapter functions are available.

5.2.1. Switching to macOS Mode

Hold FN + TAB for 5 seconds to switch the keyboard's system mode between Windows and macOS. The keyboard will adapt its key functions accordingly.

5.3. N-Key Rollover

The F97 features N-Key Rollover (NKRO) with swift response, preventing key ghosting and jamming. Every keypress is detected accurately, even during rapid input.

5.4. Battery Life

The integrated 4000mAh battery can last up to 260 days via Bluetooth connection with the backlight off, based on 8 hours of daily use. Battery life will vary with backlight usage and connection type.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, disconnect it from all power sources. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For keycaps, they can be carefully removed and cleaned with mild soap and water, then thoroughly dried before reinstallation. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.2. Keycap and Switch Replacement

Due to the hot-swappable design, keycaps and switches can be replaced. Use a keycap puller to remove keycaps and a switch puller to remove switches. Ensure proper alignment when installing new switches to avoid bending pins.

7. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode (wired, 2.4G, Bluetooth) and ensure it matches your device's connection. For 2.4G, verify the receiver is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, re-pair the device.
• Keys not typing correctly: Check if any switches are loose or damaged. If hot-swappable, try reseating the switch or replacing it. Ensure the correct operating system mode (Windows/Mac) is selected.
• Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Remove the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to re-pair. Ensure no other devices are interfering with the Bluetooth signal.
• Backlight not working: Check keyboard settings for backlight control. Ensure the battery has sufficient charge.
