3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Memory Card Insertion

1. Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
2. Locate the microSD card slot on the dash cam.
3. Insert the microSD card with the gold contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
4. To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release to eject.

3.2 Mounting the Dash Cam

1. Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
2. Attach the adhesive mount to the dash cam.
3. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad.
4. Firmly press the dash cam onto the chosen spot on the windshield, ideally behind the rearview mirror for an unobstructed view and minimal driver distraction.
5. For the rear camera, mount it on the rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.

3.3 Power Connection

1. Connect the power cable to the DC IN port on the main dash cam unit.

When the memory card is full, the oldest normal recording files will be overwritten by new ones. Emergency recordings triggered by the G-sensor or manual events are protected from overwriting.

4.2 Parking Mode

The D20-Q2E supports parking mode surveillance. When the vehicle's ignition is turned off, the dash cam automatically switches to parking mode. It can record using:
