- Insert the microSD card with the gold contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release to eject.
3.2 Mounting the Dash Cam

- Attach the adhesive mount to the dash cam.
- Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad.
- Firmly press the dash cam onto the chosen spot on the windshield, ideally behind the rearview mirror for an unobstructed view and minimal driver distraction.
- For the rear camera, mount it on the rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.
3.3 Power Connection
- Connect the power cable to the DC IN port on the main dash cam unit.
- Route the power cable neatly along the windshield trim and dashboard to the vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket) or fuse box (for hardwiring, professional installation recommended).
- Connect the rear camera cable to the CAM port on the main unit and route it to the rear camera.
- Start your vehicle to power on the dash cam.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Recording (Driving Mode)
Once powered on, the D20-Q2E will automatically begin continuous loop recording. Video files are saved in segments (e.g., 1 minute each). When the memory card is full, the oldest normal recording files will be overwritten by new ones. Emergency recordings triggered by the G-sensor or manual events are protected from overwriting.

4.2 Parking Mode
The D20-Q2E supports parking mode surveillance. When the vehicle's ignition is turned off, the dash cam automatically switches to parking mode. It can record using:
- Time Lapse: Records continuously at a low frame rate (e.g., 1 fps) to save storage space while covering long periods.
- Motion Detection: Records only when motion is detected in the camera's field of view.
The "Prevent Discharge" feature helps protect your vehicle's battery from draining during parking mode.
4.3 Using the Vueroid App (Wi-Fi Connection)
The Vueroid app (available for Android and iOS) allows you to connect to your dash cam via Wi-Fi for various functions:
- Download the "Vueroid" app from your device's app store.
- On the dash cam, press the Wi-Fi button to activate Wi-Fi mode.
- On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Vueroid dash cam's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password usually found on the dash cam or in initial setup instructions).
- Open the Vueroid app. You can now access:
- Live View: See real-time footage from the front and rear cameras.
- File Viewer: Browse, download, and delete recorded videos.
- Settings: Adjust dash cam settings such as recording resolution, G-sensor sensitivity, parking mode options, and more.
- History: Review event logs.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Memory Card Management
Although the D20-Q2E features a Format-Free File Management System, it is recommended to format the microSD card periodically (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. This can usually be done through the Vueroid app or the Vueroid Viewer software (for Windows/Mac).
5.2 Cleaning
Gently wipe the dash cam lenses and body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the device.
5.3 Firmware Updates
Periodically check the Vueroid website (www.vueroid.com) for available firmware updates. Firmware updates can improve performance, add new features, or fix bugs. Follow the instructions provided with the firmware update package carefully.
