Preparation & Mixing
Empero Nutsedge Killer comes in rapid-dissolving granules for easy preparation.
- Add 1 level scoop of Empero Nutsedge Killer and 2 teaspoons of surfactant (not included) per gallon of water.
- Mix thoroughly until granules are fully dissolved.

Application Instructions
Apply the mixed solution to areas affected by nutsedge. Ensure thorough coverage of the weed foliage.
- Apply to established warm- or cool-season turf, including bluegrass, fescue, Bermudagrass, and zoysia.
- Ensure the entire leaf surface of the target weed is wet with the spray solution.
- Avoid double spraying areas to prevent thinning of grass. Using a blue dye (not included) can help track sprayed areas.

Post-Application Care
After application, allow the spray solution to dry completely before re-entry.
- Pets and people can re-enter the treated area once the spray solution has dried.
- The product is rainproof after 4 hours, meaning it will remain effective even if rain occurs after this period.
- Avoid watering or cutting the lawn for 2-3 days after application for optimal results.

Troubleshooting
If nutsedge persists after initial application, consider the following:
- Ensure proper mixing ratios were followed, including the use of a surfactant.
