Product Overview

The LEQISMART Scooter Lock is designed to provide security for your electric scooters, bikes, and other short commuting vehicles. It features a durable braided steel cable with a protective PVC coating and a 4-digit resettable combination mechanism for keyless convenience.

Setup: Setting Your Combination

Follow these steps to set your personal 4-digit combination for the LEQISMART Scooter Lock. The initial factory default combination is 0000.

1. Step 1: Open the Lock with Default Combination. Dial the combination wheels to the initial password "0000" to open the lock.

2. Step 2: Rotate the Reset Knob. Locate the reset knob on the side of the lock unit. Rotate this knob 90 degrees clockwise. Note: The reset knob cannot be rotated if the current password is incorrect.

3. Step 3: Set Your New Combination. With the reset knob rotated, dial the combination wheels to your preferred 4-digit combination. Ensure the digits align with the markers on both ends of the lock.

4. Step 4: Lock the New Password. Remember your new password. Rotate the reset knob 90 degrees counter-clockwise back to its original position to lock in the new combination.

5. Step 5: Scramble and Test. Scramble all the numbers on the combination wheels. Then, toggle back to your newly set password to ensure it opens the lock. This also helps prevent digits from accidentally jittering to an incorrect position.

6. Step 6: Complete Resetting. Insert the lock latch into the lock unit to complete the password resetting process. If you wish to set a new password again, repeat steps 1 through 6.

Operating the Lock

To lock your scooter or bike:

1. Set the combination to your personal 4-digit code.
2. Insert the lock latch into the lock unit until it clicks securely.
3. Scramble the numbers on the combination wheels to secure the lock.

To unlock your scooter or bike:

1. Dial the combination wheels to your personal 4-digit code.
2. Pull the lock latch out of the lock unit.

Troubleshooting: Retrieving Your Password

If you forget your combination, you can attempt to retrieve it. This method works only when the lock latch is separated from the lock unit.

1. Step 1: Push the Lock Latch. Push the lock latch into the lock unit as if you were trying to lock it, but do not fully engage it.

2. Step 2: Toggle Digits. Toggle the digits one by one, trying numbers from 0 to 9 in turn. As you find the correct number for each digit, the lock latch will step further into the unit. Continue this process for all four digits until the latch is fully inserted, revealing the correct combination.
