5.1 Setting the Temperature

• Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.

• The indicator light will illuminate, showing the iron is heating up. It will turn off when the set temperature is reached.
• The ThermoSafe residual heat indicator on the soleplate will show when the soleplate is hot.

5.2 Steam Ironing

• Steam ironing is only possible at higher temperatures (usually settings for cotton, linen, or denim).
• Ensure the water tank is filled.
• Set the temperature control dial to the appropriate steam setting.
• Once the iron reaches the set temperature, press the steam button to release continuous steam (0-40 g/min).
• For stubborn creases, press the steam boost button for an extra burst of steam (up to 200 g).

5.3 Dry Ironing

• For dry ironing, ensure the water tank is empty or the steam setting is turned off.
• Set the temperature control dial to the desired setting.

5.4 Vertical Steam

• The iron can be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments or curtains.
• Hold the iron vertically, close to the fabric, and press the steam boost button.
