Setup Instructions

Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present and accounted for. Refer to the included hardware package for screws, gaskets, and tools. A weighted umbrella base is required for stability and is not included with the umbrella. A base weighing 220+ lbs is recommended.

Assembly Steps:

1. Assemble the Cross Base: Lay out the cross base components. Attach the central connector to the cross base using 4 thick screws and 4 gaskets. Align the holes and tighten securely.
2. Attach the Main Pole: Insert the lower section of the main pole into the central connector on the cross base. Secure it using 4 thick screws and 4 gaskets, ensuring proper alignment and tightness.
3. Install the Umbrella Base (Sold Separately): If using a separate weighted base (e.g., a 4-piece stand), attach the black knob and place the main pole assembly into the base. Secure it according to the base's instructions.
4. Prepare the Canopy: Carefully unwrap the umbrella canopy. Identify the four umbilical connecting rods. Unscrew the small screws on these rods.
5. Insert Connecting Rods: Insert the four connecting rods into the designated slots on the umbrella canopy, ensuring correct orientation. Screw them in securely. Close the zippers on the canopy fabric around the rods.
6. Attach Umbrella to Pole: With assistance, carefully lift the folded umbrella canopy and attach it to the upper section of the main pole. Secure it using the two small screws provided to fix the umbrella in place.

Operating Instructions

Opening and Closing the Umbrella:

1. To Open: Release any securing straps. Use the crank handle located on the main pole to smoothly extend the canopy until it is fully open.
2. To Close: Rotate the crank handle in the opposite direction to retract the canopy. Once fully closed, secure the canopy with the attached strap to prevent it from unfurling in windy conditions.

Adjusting the Umbrella:

• 360° Rotation: To rotate the umbrella, step on the foot pedal located at the base of the main pole. While holding the pedal down, gently rotate the umbrella to your desired position. Release the pedal to lock it in place.
• Tilt Adjustment: The umbrella features a 4-position tilt system. Locate the tilt handle on the main pole. Press the release button or lever and adjust the canopy to the desired tilt angle. Release to lock.
