4.1. MA-100 Main Unit Controls and Indicators

5. Setup
5.1. Charging the Unit
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN jack on the MA-100 unit.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable AC power outlet.
- The unit will begin charging. The power indicator may change color or state to indicate charging status (refer to specific LED behavior in the quick start guide if available).
- Ensure the unit is fully charged before first use for optimal battery life.
5.2. Connecting the Bodypack Transmitter
- Connect the lavalier microphone's 3.5mm plug into the microphone input jack on the ACT-58T Bodypack Transmitter.
- Ensure the connection is secure.
5.3. Pairing the Transmitter with the PA System (ACT Sync)
- Power on the MA-100 PA system by rotating the POWER/MIC VOL knob clockwise.
- Press the SCAN/ACT button on the MA-100 unit to find an available clear frequency. The CH1 Display will show the selected channel.
- Power on the ACT-58T Bodypack Transmitter using its ON/OFF switch.
- Align the IR (infrared) port of the ACT-58T transmitter with the IR sensor on the MA-100 receiver (usually near the SCAN/ACT button).
- Press and hold the ACT button on the ACT-58T transmitter until the channel on the transmitter synchronizes with the MA-100 unit. The RF Indicator on the MA-100 should illuminate, indicating a successful connection.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Basic Audio Operation
- After successful pairing, speak into the lavalier microphone.
- Adjust the microphone volume using the POWER/MIC VOL knob.
- If using an external audio source via the LINE IN jack, connect the device and adjust its volume using the LINE VOL knob.
- For USB media playback, insert a USB drive into the USB Port and use the Media Player Controls (PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, PREV/TEN, NEXT/TEN) to manage playback. Adjust volume with the USB VOL knob.
6.2. Bluetooth Connectivity
The MA-100 supports Bluetooth audio input, allowing wireless streaming from compatible devices like smartphones.
- Ensure the MA-100 is powered on.
- Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone or other compatible device.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "MIPRO MA-100" (or similar name) from the list.
- Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the PA system. Adjust volume using the relevant controls on the MA-100 and your source device.
