Introduction

The Magnasonic All-In-One 24MP Film Scanner is designed to convert your valuable 35mm, 110, 126, and Super 8 film negatives, as well as 135, 126, and 110 slides, into high-resolution 24-megapixel digital JPEG files. This device offers a convenient way to preserve and share your old memories without the need for a computer during the scanning process. Featuring a large 5-inch LCD display and HDMI output, it allows for direct viewing on the scanner or an external monitor.

Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect the scanner to a power source using the provided USB cable. The scanner can be powered via a computer's USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter.
  2. Memory Card Insertion (Optional): For expanded storage beyond the built-in 128MB memory (which holds approximately 50 images), insert an SD card (up to 128GB, sold separately) into the SD card slot located at the back of the scanner. This allows storage of up to 20,000 images.
  3. Film Holder Preparation: Select the appropriate film holder for your film type (35mm, 126, 110, Super 8 film, or 135, 126, 110 slides). Open the film holder and carefully insert your film or slide. Ensure the film is clean and free of dust.

Operating Instructions

  1. Insert Film Holder: Slide the prepared film holder into the designated slot on the side of the scanner.
  2. Select Film Type: On the 5-inch LCD display, navigate through the menu to select the correct film type (e.g., 35mm Negative, 135 Slide). The scanner supports 35mm/110/126/Super 8 film and 135/126/110 slides.
  3. Adjust Settings (Optional): Use the scanner's controls to adjust brightness, RGB color correction, or to mirror and flip images directly on the screen. You can also select the desired resolution (up to 24MP interpolated).
  4. Scan Image: Once the image is properly framed and settings are adjusted, press the capture button. The scanner will convert the image to a digital JPEG file in approximately 5 seconds.
  5. Review and Save: Review the scanned image on the LCD display. The image will be automatically saved to the internal memory or the inserted SD card.
  6. Continuous Scanning: For multiple images, advance the film in the holder and repeat the scanning process. The fast-loading film trays facilitate efficient batch scanning.

Data Transfer

After scanning, you can transfer your digital photos to a computer for further editing, sharing, or storage. The scanner has 128MB of built-in memory, capable of storing up to 50 images temporarily. For larger collections, an SD card (up to 128GB) can store up to 20,000 images.
