3. Setup and Assembly
Adult assembly is required. Follow these steps to assemble your playset:
- Carefully unpack all components from the box.
- Connect the base pieces to form the playset foundation. Ensure all tabs click securely into place.
- Attach the volcano structure to the designated area on the base.
- Install the elevator tower and ramp sections.
- Place the zipline mechanism and palm trees as indicated in the diagrams.
- Insert the 3 LR44 batteries into the designated battery compartment, typically located at the base of the volcano, ensuring correct polarity.
- Place the lava rock "balls" into the volcano's crater.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Elevator Operation
Place a Matchbox vehicle into the elevator platform. Manually raise the elevator to transport the vehicle to the upper level of the playset. Once at the top, the vehicle can proceed onto the ramps.

4.2. Volcano Eruption and Zipline Escape
To activate the volcano's lights and sounds, press the designated lever or button near the volcano's base. This action will also trigger the lava rock "explosion" from the crater. As vehicles drive down from the volcano, they can activate the researcher's zipline escape mechanism, sending the figure sliding to safety.

4.3. Navigating Route Breakers
The playset features various route breakers and path options. For example, a movable gorilla figure can block one path, while a white barrier can be adjusted to direct vehicles down different routes, adding dynamic play scenarios.

4.4. Connecting to Other Playsets
The Matchbox Action Drivers Volcano Escape Playset is designed to connect with other Matchbox Action Drivers sets and Hot Wheels tracks, allowing for expanded play environments and custom track configurations. Look for the designated connection points on the base of the playset.

5. Maintenance
