Introduction
The ONAGAD Truck Tool Box Mounting Kit provides a secure and stable solution for attaching your truck bed toolbox without the need for drilling. This kit is designed to keep toolboxes firmly in place, preventing movement and noise even on uneven roads, and offers enhanced security against theft. The components are crafted from high-strength, corrosion-resistant materials to ensure longevity and reliable performance under various weather conditions.
Setup & Installation
This mounting kit offers a quick and easy installation process that requires no special tools or drilling, preserving the integrity of your truck bed rails. It is compatible with all makes and models of pick-ups, including Crossover Series boxes and other cargo management systems.
Components Overview
Each kit includes the following components:
- J-Hook Clamps (Aluminum Alloy, Black Powder Coating)
- Bolts (304 Stainless Steel)
- Nuts (304 Stainless Steel)
- Washers (304 Stainless Steel)
- Spring Lock Washers (304 Stainless Steel)
- Scratch-Resistant, Shock-Proof Rubber Pads (with 3M adhesive)

Step-by-Step Installation
- Prepare the Clamp and Pads: Attach the circular rubber pads to the underside of the large washers and the rectangular rubber pads to the gripping surface of the J-hook clamps. These pads increase friction for a greater grip and prevent scratching of your truck and toolbox.
- Position the J-Hook Clamp: Place the J-hook clamp under the bed rail of your truck, ensuring the J-shaped end hooks securely onto the underside of the rail. The design allows for a wide grip on the bedrail.
- Insert and Secure the Bolt: Insert the long bolt through the pre-drilled hole in your toolbox, then through the large washer (with the rubber pad facing down), and finally into the threaded opening of the J-hook clamp.
- Tighten the Assembly: Hand-tighten the bolt into the J-hook clamp until it begins to secure the toolbox. Then, use an appropriate wrench to fully tighten the bolt, pulling the clamp firmly against the truck bed rail and the toolbox. Ensure the assembly is snug and the toolbox does not move.

Repeat these steps for all desired mounting points. For optimal security, it is recommended to use all six clamps provided in the kit, distributing them evenly along the toolbox.

Operating Instructions
Once installed, the ONAGAD Truck Tool Box Mounting Kit ensures your toolbox remains stable and secure. Periodically check the tightness of the bolts, especially after initial installation and after driving on rough terrain. This will maintain optimal security and prevent any unwanted movement or noise from the toolbox.
Maintenance
The ONAGAD Truck Tool Box Mounting Kit is constructed from durable, anti-corrosion Aluminum Alloy for the clamps and rust-proof 304 Stainless Steel for the screws, nuts, and washers. This material selection ensures resistance to adverse weather and harsh conditions.
- Cleaning: Clean the clamps and bolts periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the black powder coating.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect all components for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure the rubber pads are intact and providing adequate cushioning and grip.
- Tightness Check: As part of routine maintenance, re-check the tightness of all bolts to ensure the toolbox remains securely fastened.
Troubleshooting
- Toolbox feels loose or moves:
- Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Over time, vibrations can cause bolts to loosen.
- Verify that the J-hook clamps are properly seated under the truck bed rail and that the rubber pads are correctly positioned to maximize grip.
- Consider adding additional clamps if only a few were initially used, especially for heavier toolboxes or frequent travel on rough roads.
- Difficulty threading bolts into clamps:
- Ensure the bolt is aligned perfectly straight with the threaded hole in the clamp to avoid cross-threading.
- If threads feel stiff, slowly thread the bolt all the way through the clamp once or twice before final installation to clear any minor imperfections in the threading.
- Scratching on truck bed or toolbox:
- Confirm that all rubber pads are correctly installed between the metal surfaces of the clamps, bolts, and the truck/toolbox.
- Ensure the pads are not dislodged during installation or use.
