Installation Guide
Before beginning installation, ensure your grill is completely cool and disconnected from its gas supply. It is recommended to wear protective gloves.
- Remove Grill Grates and Heat Tents: Carefully lift out the cooking grates and existing heat tents (flame tamers) from your grill.
- Remove Old Burner Tubes: Disconnect the old burner tubes from the gas valves and remove any retaining pins or screws. Carefully lift them out of the grill.
- Remove Old Crossover Tubes: Detach and remove the old crossover tubes that connect the burner tubes.
- Clean Grill Interior: Thoroughly clean the inside of the grill, removing any grease, rust, or debris from the firebox.
- Install New Burner Tubes: Insert the new burner tubes into their respective positions, ensuring they align correctly with the gas valve orifices at one end and the support brackets at the other. Secure them with the provided cotter pins or original hardware if applicable.
- Install New Crossover Tubes: Adjust the new crossover tubes to the appropriate length and install them between the burner tubes, ensuring a secure connection for flame transfer.
- Install New Heat Plates: Place the new heat plates directly over the installed burner tubes. Ensure they sit securely on their designated supports.
- Install Igniter Wire (if replacing): If replacing the igniter wire, connect it to the igniter module and route it to the appropriate burner for spark generation.
- Reinstall Grill Grates: Once all parts are securely in place, carefully reinstall the cooking grates.
