3. Setup
3.1 Physical Placement
The DHT-S517 soundbar is designed to fit below your TV without blocking the IR sensor. It can be placed on a shelf or wall-mounted. The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room without the need for cables connecting it to the soundbar.

3.2 Connections
- HDMI eARC/ARC Connection: For optimal audio quality and TV remote control functionality, connect the soundbar to your TV's HDMI eARC/ARC port using the supplied HDMI cable.
- Optical Connection: If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, use the supplied optical cable to connect the soundbar to your TV's optical digital audio output.
- Power Connection: Connect the soundbar and wireless subwoofer to a power outlet using their respective power cords. The subwoofer will automatically pair with the soundbar.

3.3 Initial Power On
After connecting the power, the soundbar and subwoofer will power on. The soundbar will automatically detect the input source. Follow the Quick Start Guide for any additional on-screen setup prompts.

4.4 Wireless Music Streaming (Bluetooth)
Stream unlimited music from any Bluetooth-enabled device directly to the soundbar. Simply select the Bluetooth input on the soundbar and pair your device.
