Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the side door of the camera.
- Insert the included Lithium Ion battery with the correct orientation.
- Close the side door securely to maintain waterproofing.
- Connect the camera to a USB power source using the provided USB-C cable to fully charge the battery before first use. The camera will automatically upload footage to the cloud when charging and connected to Wi-Fi (with a GoPro subscription).
2. Inserting a MicroSD Card
- Open the side door.
- Insert a compatible microSD card (sold separately) into the card slot with the label facing the front of the camera.
- Push the card in until it clicks into place.
- Close the side door securely.
3. Powering On/Off
- To power on: Press the Mode button (side of the camera).
- To power off: Press and hold the Mode button for approximately 3 seconds.
4. Connecting to the Quik App
Download the GoPro Quik app on your mobile device for easy control, editing, and content transfer. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your camera via Wi-Fi.
