Operating (How to Play)
Game Objective
The goal of Marvel Chaos is to be the last superhero remaining in play. You achieve this by reducing your opponents' Life Points to zero while protecting your own.
Gameplay Overview
The game proceeds in turns, with players taking actions to attack opponents, defend themselves, and utilize their character's unique abilities. Each turn involves drawing a card, playing cards, and managing your hand.

Player Turn Sequence
- Draw Phase: Draw one card from your deck. If your deck runs out, shuffle your discard pile to form a new deck.
- Action Phase: You may play any number of cards from your hand. Cards typically have effects such as:
- Attack Cards: Deal damage to an opponent. When damage is dealt, the affected player moves their Life Point Token down on their Life Counter by the amount of damage received. Take the corresponding number of Damage Tokens from the central pile and place them on the opponent's Life Counter to visually represent the damage.
- Defense Cards: Block or reduce incoming damage.
- Ability Cards: Grant special effects, draw more cards, or manipulate the game state.
- Ally Cards: Provide ongoing benefits or one-time effects.
Follow the instructions on each card. Some cards may require specific conditions to be met or target specific players.
- End Phase: Discard any cards you wish from your hand. There is no hand limit. Your turn ends, and play passes to the next player clockwise.
Life Points and Elimination
Each player starts with 10 Life Points. When a player's Life Points reach zero, they are eliminated from the game. All their cards (hand, deck, discard pile) are removed from play. The game continues until only one player remains.
Winning the Game
The last player remaining with Life Points above zero wins the game!
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity of your Marvel Chaos Card Game:
- Storage: Store all game components in the original box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Cleaning: If cards or tokens become dirty, gently wipe them with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners.
- Handling: Handle cards by their edges to prevent bending or creasing. Avoid eating or drinking directly over the game area.
