Setup

1. Charging the Battery

A full charge typically takes less than one hour. The battery also features an LED power gauge to indicate its charge level.

2. Attaching Sandpaper

The sander uses a hook and loop system for sandpaper attachment. Select the appropriate grit sandpaper (P60 for coarse, P80 for medium, P120 for fine). Align the sandpaper pad with the sanding base and press firmly to secure it. Ensure the holes on the sandpaper align with the holes on the sanding base for optimal dust collection.

Slide the dust collection box onto the designated slot at the rear of the sander until it clicks securely into place. This box collects dust generated during sanding, keeping your workspace cleaner.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective and safe operation of your detail sander:

  1. Prepare Workpiece: Ensure your workpiece is clean, dry, and securely clamped to prevent movement during sanding.
  2. Select Sandpaper: Choose the appropriate grit for your task. Start with a coarser grit (P60) for material removal and move to finer grits (P80, P120) for a smoother finish.
  3. Power On: Hold the sander firmly with both hands. Locate the On/Off switch, typically on the top of the tool, and slide it to the "On" position.
  4. Begin Sanding: Gently place the sanding pad flat against the surface of the workpiece. Apply light, even pressure and move the sander in smooth, overlapping strokes. For best results, sand with the grain of the wood. The pointed tip allows access to tight corners and intricate details.
  5. Monitor Dust Box: Periodically check the dust collection box and empty it when it is about half full to maintain optimal dust collection efficiency.
  6. Power Off: When finished, lift the sander from the workpiece and slide the On/Off switch to the "Off" position.

  • Battery Care and Storage: Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to store the battery with a partial charge (around 50%). Do not store fully discharged batteries.
