Setup
Power Connection
- Connect the USB power cable to the power port located on the back of the clock.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a compatible USB port.
- The clock display will illuminate, indicating it has power.
Memory Function Battery
The clock has a built-in rechargeable battery that retains time, temperature, date, and alarm settings for up to 168 hours (7 days) during a power outage. No manual battery installation is required for this function; it charges automatically when the clock is powered.
Operating Instructions
The clock can be operated using either the included remote control or the buttons on the back of the unit.
Setting Time (12/24 Hour Mode)
- Press the CLOCK button on the remote control or the corresponding button on the back of the clock to enter time setting mode.
- Use the UP and DOWN arrows on the remote or buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press CLOCK again to move to minutes, then adjust using UP and DOWN.
- To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display modes, press the 12/24H button (if available on remote) or cycle through options during time setting.
- Press CLOCK to confirm and exit.
Setting Date
- Press the DATE button on the remote or the corresponding button on the back.
- Adjust the year, month, and day using the UP and DOWN arrows, pressing DATE to move between fields.
- Press DATE to confirm and exit.
Temperature Display
The clock automatically displays the ambient temperature. It cycles through time, date, and temperature by default. You can press the TEMP button on the remote to manually switch to temperature display.
Alarm Setting
- Press the ALARM button on the remote or the corresponding button on the back.
- Use the UP and DOWN arrows to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press ALARM again to set the alarm minutes.
- Press ALARM to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button on the remote or the designated button on the back of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a set interval (typically 5-9 minutes).
Brightness Adjustment
The clock offers multiple brightness levels and an automatic dimming feature.
- Manual Adjustment: Press the BRIGHT button on the remote control repeatedly to cycle through 3 brightness levels (bright, medium, dim) and an off state.
- Automatic Dimming: The clock is equipped with a light sensor that can automatically adjust the display brightness based on ambient light conditions. This feature ensures optimal visibility without being too bright in dark environments.
Mounting
The Deeyaple LED Digital Alarm Clock is designed for wall mounting. It features integrated hook holes on the back for easy installation.
- Identify a suitable location on your wall for mounting.
- Measure the distance between the two hook holes on the back of the clock.
- Mark two corresponding points on your wall.
- Install two screws (not included) into the marked points on the wall, leaving a small portion of the screw head exposed.
- Carefully align the clock's hook holes with the screws and slide the clock down to secure it in place.
