1. Product Overview

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before using this battery pack. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

General Battery Safety:

• Do not disassemble, open, or shred the battery pack.
• Do not expose the battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials.
• Do not remove the battery pack from its original packaging until required for use.
• Do not subject battery packs to mechanical shock.
• In the event of battery leakage, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
• Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
• Keep battery packs out of the reach of children.
• Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery has been swallowed.
• Keep battery packs clean and dry.
• Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
• The battery pack is designed for use with DURATECH 20V cordless tools only.
• Observe plus (+) and minus (-) marks on the battery and equipment and ensure correct use.
• Do not use a battery pack that is not designed for use with the equipment.
• Do not mix different manufacturers, capacities, sizes or types of batteries within the same device.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery pack. Use only the charger specified by DURATECH for this 20V Li-ion battery pack. Refer to your charger's instruction manual for detailed charging procedures.

• Connect the charger to a power outlet.
• Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
• The charger's indicator lights will show the charging status.
• Once fully charged, remove the battery pack from the charger.

3.2 Installing the Battery Pack

To install the battery pack into a compatible DURATECH 20V cordless tool:

1. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the tool.
2. Slide the battery pack into the tool until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated and does not wobble.

3.3 Removing the Battery Pack

To remove the battery pack from a compatible DURATECH 20V cordless tool:

1. Locate the battery release button on the tool (usually near the battery port).
2. Press and hold the battery release button.
3. Slide the battery pack out of the tool.

4.1 Checking Battery Status

• Press the power indicator button located on the battery pack.
• The 4 LED lights will illuminate to indicate the remaining charge level.

4.2 Using with Compatible Tools
