Setup

1. Planning and Preparation

• Determine the desired placement for your LED strips (e.g., under cabinets, above counters, along shelves, or as TV backlighting).
• Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesive performance.
• Plan the routing of the strips and connection cables to reach a power outlet.

2. Physical Installation

1. Peel off the protective backing from the self-adhesive LED strips.
2. Carefully press the strips onto the desired surface, ensuring firm contact.
3. Use the provided Linear Connect cables or U-shaped connect cables to link multiple strip segments or navigate corners.
4. Secure any loose cables with the included cable buckles.

3. Power Connection

1. Connect the LED strip to the controller.
2. Connect the power adapter to the controller.
3. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Wi-Fi and App Connection

To enable smart features, connect your lights to the "Dotint" app:

1. Download the "Dotint" app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz networks are not supported).
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
4. The lights will start to flicker when in pairing mode. Confirm the device in the app and enter your Wi-Fi password.
