Installation

The ELAMOR M19 lock is designed for easy installation, typically requiring only 15 minutes with a screwdriver. It features an adaptive left and right door design, eliminating the need to distinguish door orientation during setup.

Door Preparation

Ensure your door meets the following specifications for proper installation:

  • Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60-70mm)
  • Hole in door edge: 1" (25mm)
  • Door thickness: Between 1-3/8" and 2" (35mm and 50mm)

Installation Steps

  1. Install the deadbolt latch into the door edge. Ensure the latch is oriented correctly for your door's swing.
  2. Mount the exterior keypad assembly. Feed the cable through the door hole.
  3. Attach the mounting plate to the interior side of the door, securing it with screws.
  4. Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly.
  5. Secure the interior assembly to the mounting plate.
  6. Install batteries (4 x AA, not included) into the interior assembly.
  7. Perform the door handing identification process (refer to the detailed user guide for specific steps).

Operating Instructions

Unlocking the Door

To unlock the door using the keypad:

  1. Enter your 4-8 digit user code on the keypad.
  2. Press the "Lock" button (padlock icon).

The deadbolt will retract, allowing you to open the door. The keypad numbers illuminate when pressed, making it easy to use in low light conditions.

Locking the Door

To lock the door from the outside, simply press the "Lock" button (padlock icon) on the keypad. The deadbolt will extend.

From the inside, turn the thumb-turn to lock the door.

Auto-Lock Feature

The lock can be set to automatically lock after a specified period (3 to 30 seconds). This feature provides peace of mind, ensuring your door is always secured.

Battery Replacement
