5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your PPS500. Connect the provided charging cable to the DC Input port on the unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The LCD display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.

5.2 Charging Options

  • AC Wall Charger: Use the included charging cable for standard wall charging.
  • Solar Panel (Sold Separately): The PPS500 is compatible with solar panels for charging. Connect a compatible solar panel to the DC Input port.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Turning On/Off

Press and hold the main power button for a few seconds to turn the unit on or off. The LCD display will illuminate when the unit is active.

6.2 Using AC Outlets

  1. Ensure the PPS500 is powered on.
  2. Press the AC power button to activate the AC outlets. An indicator light will confirm activation.
  3. Plug your 110V AC appliance into one of the two AC outlets.
  4. The LCD display will show the output wattage.
  5. To turn off AC output, press the AC power button again.

6.3 Using DC Outlets (12V Car & 12V DC)

  1. Ensure the PPS500 is powered on.
  2. Press the DC power button to activate the DC outlets. An indicator light will confirm activation.
  3. Plug your 12V device into the car outlet or one of the two 12V DC outlets.
  4. The LCD display will show the output wattage.
  5. To turn off DC output, press the DC power button again.

6.4 Using USB Ports (USB-A & USB-C)

  1. Ensure the PPS500 is powered on.
  2. The USB ports are typically active when the unit is on.
  3. Connect your USB-powered devices to the appropriate USB-A or USB-C ports.
  4. The LCD display may show the output wattage for USB ports.

6.5 Using the Wireless Charging Pad

  1. Ensure the PPS500 is powered on.
  2. Place your Qi-compatible device (e.g., smartphone) on the wireless charging pad located on top of the unit.
  3. Ensure the device is centered on the pad for optimal charging.
  4. Your device should indicate that it is charging wirelessly.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

7.2 Storage

  • Store the PPS500 in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • For long-term storage, charge the unit to approximately 50-80% every 3-6 months to prolong battery life.

7.3 Battery Care

The PPS500 uses a lithium-ion battery. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently, as this can reduce its lifespan. Regular partial discharges and recharges are recommended.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Unit Not Turning On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the unit to a power source and allow it to charge for a period.
  • Press and hold the power button firmly for several seconds.

8.2 No Output from Ports

  • Verify that the specific output section (AC, DC) is activated by pressing its respective power button.
  • Check if the device you are trying to power exceeds the maximum output wattage of the PPS500 (500W for AC).
  • Ensure the cables are securely connected.
  • If the unit has overheated, it may temporarily shut down. Allow it to cool down before attempting to use it again.

8.3 Slow Charging
