Product Overview
The Equator Laundry Center combines a compact front-loading washer and a digital vented sensor dryer into a single, space-saving stacked unit. This configuration allows for simultaneous washing and drying, optimizing your laundry routine.

Washer Unit (Equator 1.6 cu.ft. Compact Washer)
The lower unit is a 1.6 cu.ft. compact front-loading washer. It features digital controls, 12 standard wash cycles, and a durable stainless steel drum. It is designed for efficient water and electricity usage.

Dryer Unit (Equator 3.5 cu.ft. 110V Electrical Compact Digital Vented Sensor Dryer)
The upper unit is a 3.5 cu.ft. compact electric dryer. It features touch screen digital controls, auto dry, and a 60-minute time dry option. The dryer also includes a durable rust-resistant stainless steel drum.

Setup and Installation
Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the shipping bolts from the washer. Retain packaging for future transport if needed.
- Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
Placement
- Place the laundry center on a firm, level floor. Ensure there is adequate space for ventilation around the unit.
- Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the washer to ensure the unit is stable and level.
Electrical Connection
- Ensure the electrical outlet meets the specifications for the appliance (110V).
- Plug the power cord securely into a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
Water Connection (Washer)
- Connect the hot and cold water inlet hoses to the corresponding water faucets and to the inlet valves on the back of the washer. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Position the drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub, ensuring it is securely fastened to prevent dislodging during operation.

Venting (Dryer)
- Connect the dryer vent hose to the exhaust outlet on the back of the dryer and route it to an external vent. Ensure the vent path is clear and unobstructed for proper airflow.
- Use rigid or flexible metal ducting for venting. Avoid plastic or foil ducting.

Stacking Kit
Please note that a stacking kit is required to securely stack the dryer on top of the washer. This kit is sold separately and must be installed according to its specific instructions.
Operating Instructions
Washer Operation
Control Panel Overview
- Digital Display: Shows remaining time, error codes, and cycle status.
- Program Dial: Selects the desired wash program.
- Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses a wash cycle.
- Option Buttons: Select additional functions like pre-wash, extra rinse, spin speed, and temperature.
Washing Programs
The washer offers 12 standard cycles, including:
- Quick Wash
- Winterize
- Quiet
- Normal
- Heavy Duty
- Delicates
- Spin Only
- Rinse + Spin
- And others accessible via the program dial.
Loading Laundry
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and soil level.
- Open the washer door and load items loosely into the drum. Do not overload.
- Add detergent and fabric softener to the dispenser compartments.
- Close the door firmly.
Starting a Wash Cycle
- Turn the Program Dial to select the desired wash cycle.
- Select any additional options (e.g., temperature, spin speed) using the option buttons.
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.
Dryer Operation
Control Panel Overview
- Digital Display: Shows remaining time and selected settings.
- Program/Heat Level Buttons: Selects drying program and heat intensity.
- Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses a dry cycle.
Drying Programs
The dryer offers two main drying options:
- Auto Dry: Uses sensors to detect moisture levels and automatically stops when clothes are dry.
- 60 Minutes Time Dry: Dries for a fixed duration of 60 minutes.
Loading Laundry
- Ensure the lint filter is clean before each load.
- Load items loosely into the dryer drum. Do not overload.
- Close the door firmly.
Starting a Dry Cycle
- Select the desired drying program (Auto Dry or 60 Minutes Time Dry).
- Adjust the heat level if applicable.
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Cleaning the Drum
- Periodically wipe the inside of the washer and dryer drums with a damp cloth.
- For the washer, run a tub clean cycle (if available) or a hot wash cycle with no laundry and a cup of white vinegar or a specialized washer cleaner.
Lint Filter Cleaning (Dryer)
- Clean the lint filter before or after every load to maintain drying efficiency and prevent fire hazards.
- Remove the filter, pull off accumulated lint, and reinsert.
Drain Pump Filter Cleaning (Washer)
- Locate the drain pump filter access panel (usually at the bottom front of the washer).
- Place a shallow pan underneath to catch any residual water.
- Carefully open the cover, unscrew the filter, and remove any lint, debris, or foreign objects.
- Clean the filter under running water and reinsert it securely.
Winterizing
If the appliance is to be stored in an area subject to freezing temperatures, follow these steps to prevent damage:
- Disconnect water supply hoses.
- Drain all water from the washer and hoses.
- Run a short drain cycle or use the specific Winterize program if available.
