  2. Select the desired speed using the speed dial. The mixer features a Slow Start Technology that gradually increases mixing speed to prevent splatters, especially when starting with dry ingredients.

2.2 Mixing Tips

  • Use lower speeds for folding ingredients, creaming butter, or incorporating dry ingredients to minimize splattering.
  • Medium speeds are suitable for general mixing tasks.
  • Higher speeds are ideal for whipping cream, egg whites, or kneading dough.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the mixer before cleaning.
  • The traditional stainless steel beaters and whisk are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
  • Wipe the main mixer unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.

3.2 Storage

The hand mixer comes with a convenient snap-on storage case. This case allows you to neatly store the beaters, whisk, and cord in one place, preventing lost attachments.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Mixer does not turn on: Ensure the mixer is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the speed dial is set to a speed other than '0'.
  • Beaters are difficult to insert/remove: Ensure the mixer is unplugged. Press the EJECT button firmly to release beaters. If inserting, ensure they are aligned correctly and push firmly.
  • Excessive splattering: Begin mixing at the lowest speed (Speed 1) and gradually increase as ingredients combine. Ensure your mixing bowl is adequately sized for the ingredients.
