5. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps to set up your Svater Outdoor String Lights:
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove the string lights and bulbs from the packaging. Inspect all components for any damage.
- Plan Your Layout: Determine where you want to hang the lights. Consider the length of the strand (150FT) and the location of power outlets. The lights can be hung using cable ties, cup hooks, or guide wires (not included).
- Install Bulbs: Gently screw each ST38 LED bulb into its E12 socket. Ensure they are finger-tight but do not overtighten.
- Hang the Lights: Secure the string lights along your desired path. The sockets have integrated hanging loops for easy attachment. Ensure the main power plug is not yet connected to an outlet.

- Connect Multiple Strands (Optional): If you have additional Svater string light strands, you can connect them end-to-end. Locate the female connector at the end of the first strand and the male connector on the next strand. Securely twist them together. Remember not to exceed a total of 480 watts (6 strands).
- Power On: Once all bulbs are installed and the string lights are securely hung, plug the main power cord into a 120V outdoor-rated electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions
Operating your Svater Outdoor String Lights is straightforward:
- Turning On/Off: Plug the string lights into a power outlet to turn them on. Unplug them or use an external switch (if installed) to turn them off.
- Dimmable Functionality: These lights are compatible with most LED dimmers (not included). If you wish to adjust the brightness, install a compatible dimmer switch on your circuit. Follow the dimmer manufacturer's instructions for installation and use.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the bulbs and cord with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Bulb Replacement: If a bulb needs replacement, ensure the power is off. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new ST38 E12 LED bulb. Use the provided spare bulbs or purchase compatible replacements.
- Fuse Replacement: The plug contains a spare fuse for protection. If the entire strand stops working, check the fuse in the plug. To replace, slide open the fuse compartment, remove the old fuse, and insert a new one of the same rating.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the string lights in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Coil the strand neatly to prevent tangling.
