Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Assembly: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: the main grinder unit, bean hopper, bean hopper lid with built-in brush and spoon, ground coffee container with silicone cover, and portafilter accessories.

2. Assembling the Bean Hopper: Place the clear bean hopper onto the top of the grinder unit. Rotate it clockwise until it locks securely into place. A safety lock mechanism ensures the grinder does not operate without the bean container properly seated.

3. Plugging In: Connect the power cord to a 120V electrical outlet. The LED touch panel will illuminate, indicating the grinder is ready for use.
4. Filling the Beans: Open the bean hopper lid and pour whole coffee beans into the hopper. The bean box holds up to 240g (8.5 oz) of coffee beans. Replace the lid securely.

Operating Instructions

The Gevi Burr Coffee Grinder offers intuitive operation with its wide LED touch panel and versatile grinding options.

1. Selecting Grind Settings

The grinder features 35 precise grind settings, allowing you to customize the fineness of your coffee powder for different brewing methods. Rotate the upper part of the grinder to select your desired grind size.

• Espresso: Settings 1-10 (Very fine)
• Drip/Pour Over: Settings 11-25 (Medium)
• French Press: Settings 26-35 (Coarse)

2. Choosing Grinding Amount (By Cup or By Time)

The wide LED touch panel allows you to select the grinding amount based on either the number of cups or a specific time duration.

• By Cup: Press the "Cup" icon to cycle through 1 to 14 cups.
• By Time: Press the "Time" icon to select a grinding duration from 1 to 60 seconds.

3. Grinding Process

Once the settings are chosen, you can begin grinding. The grinder supports direct grinding into a portafilter or the included ground coffee container.

• Using the Ground Coffee Container: Place the ground coffee container securely under the dispensing chute.
• Using a Portafilter: Attach the portafilter accessory to the grinder, then insert your espresso machine's portafilter into the accessory.

Press the "Start/Stop" button on the touch panel to begin grinding. The grinder will automatically stop once the selected amount is dispensed.
